Melbourne University Afro Drumming Club

Aakwaaba! Welcome to the website of the Melbourne University Afro Drumming Club. We’re a fun and inclusive group that meets weekly on the Parkville campus of Melbourne University for a catchup and a practice.

If you’d like to come along and introduce yourself, we’d love to have you involved.

The group meets under the big tree in the Ross McKay courtyard (K20 on the Melbourne Uni campus map) for a professionally instructed Drum and Dance workshop in the Frank Tate building every Thursday night between 5:30pm and 7:00pm.
