Upcoming Activities
Posted: 10 March 2008
Hello african drummers, interested and interesting people!
Here’s an incomplete list of our upcoming activities (we have been busy :-)
Rehearsal this wednesday will be in the Frank Tate building… Because it’s a bit far from north court we are meeting in the deep dish courtyard, just south of Frank Tate (where the massive tree is). We meet there at 5:30pm!
The people organising Diversity Week have invited us to play at their fair on (next) monday the 17th of march. We will have a stall where we’ll set up, chill out and play drums for a few hours. Please come along! It’s a great chance to do some casual drumming, or to just hang out for a while. North court @ 12-3pm.
Next wednesday (the 19th) we are planning a dinner night at the Moroccan Soup Bar after rehearsal. For those who haven’t been it’s a really great spot.. cheap and tasty. We’ll need to make a booking though so everybody who’d like to come along please rsvp as soon as possible. please do!
Camp! Sometime in weekend 4-5, just after the easter break, we will be heading out into the fresh air for a weekend of drums and drinks. Details to follow soon!
