Week 1 of 2010

Hi everyone,

I hope you have had a lovely summer and are all ready to get back into drumming!

We have had to change our rehearsal night to Thursday due to a clash with another class Chris is teaching. We will still meet at 5:15pm under the big tree in the Ross McKay Courtyard, before moving into the Frank Tate building for rehearsal at 5:30pm. This is at position K20 on the campus map if you haven’t been there before. Hopefully this change of day won’t cause too many problems for you all.

Just a reminder for all the new club members and interested people, to attend our rehearsals you need to be a club member and you can sign up on Thursday night when you arrive. Membership costs $2 for student union members and $5 for non-union members. Then, each rehearsal costs $7 for student union members and $10 for non-union members, which goes towards paying Chris (our instructor) for his services and use of his instruments.

We will probably head out to dinner after rehearsal to somewhere around uni and everyone is welcome to come along.
